Work Stream 2

Work stream 2 uses the data and insights generated in work stream 1 to enhance existing models by including a more detailed description of mobility demand. These models are then used to provide an aggregate perspective of the development of the Swiss mobility system in the form of a set of coherent scenarios. To this end, a joint set of assumptions (in accordance with the ARE Mobility 2040 scenarios) is defined and the abilities of the different model types (technology-rich bottom up models, detailed mobility demand models, energy market models) are harnessed to derive a set of development pathways for the mobility sector.
