IT4INNOVATION

Energy supply companies focus on production, distribution and marketing of renewable energy. Due to the increasing decentralization of the production and the promotion of storage technologies, the earning potential is located rather on the end of the value chain. This demands innovation in designing new business models. For achieving this, we have assessed and analyzed in detail the existing services and their operative processes within and over the various business units of an international supply company. Recommendations for change processes and for the IT-unit have been worked out in cooperation with a private company specialized on innovation.
