SHEDS - Fourth Wave of Findings

Work Package 2 (2019)

One highlight of data collection is the fourth wave of SHEDS, which included newly created choice experiments. One experiment has investigated measures that could jointly influence mobility (the choice of more sufficient commuting options) and accommodation choices (energy efficiency, size, location and commuting distance). It provides information on how to influence some of the most important structural elements of house-hold energy consumption. The second experiment has investigated measures influencing agreement to building renovations (for tenants and owners), the expected impact (positive or negative) on quality of life measures and acceptance of alternative reduction measures involving behavior change.
