Description
In this data set, financial and non-financial factors are investigated that could drive the further penetration of building-integrated photovoltaic in Switzerland. The empirical approach is built around a dataset of stated roof option choices of Swiss private homeowners that plan to renovate their roof within the next 10 years. The data is based on home-owners’ responses to an extensive questionnaire which was conducted online, which also contained an adaptive choice-based conjoint section where people where asked to evaluate and choose among different roof options, in the context of their planned roof renovation project. These stated choice data allows to estimate homeowner’s sensitivity to changes in the product offering.
