FOCUS Group Event about Shared Mobility

On April 4th, the SCCER CREST Work Package 2 held its fourth FOCUS group event in collaboration with GreenBuzz Zurich – an organization which specializes in connecting sustainability professionals. As the SHEDS DATA showed a trend towards reduced car ownership in Swiss cities, we chose Shared Mobility as our focus group topic.
In a highly dynamic mobility market, with limited spatial capacities and the obligation of meeting the future generation’s needs, larger Swiss cities face the challenge of transporting a steadily increasing number of people between urban centers, agglomerations and rural regions. The event has clearly shown the limits of Sharing Mobility and the tension between new, innovative means of transport (such as electric scooters) and public transport.
