Directions

By public transport from the station Basel SBB:

  • Tram 8, 10 or 11 (stops D-J) to Aeschenplatz, then tram 14 to Zeughaus. Continue heading south along Zeughausstrasse on foot until you reach St. Jakobs-Strasse. Turn right, walk 200 m and follow the signs. After around 500 m, you will see the entrance to the lab on your left.
    Journey time: approx. 20 minutes, runs every 8 minutes.
  • At peak times, bus 42 runs from stop K (at the station building) from 6:29 to 9:06 and from 16:35 to 19:05. Take the 42 towards Bettingen Dorf and exit at Grosspeteranlage. Travel time: 3 minutes, then continue on foot along St. Jakobs-Strasse, following the signs. You will reach the lab after walking around 300 m.
    Journey time: approx. 10 minutes, runs every 7 minutes.

By bicycle / on foot from the station Basel SBB:

  • From Basel SBB station (city centre side) follow the station building eastwards / towards the post office, follow the footpath or bike lane straight ahead, after the Ibis Styles hotel bear right and continue along St. Jakobs-Strasse, then follow the signs. It is possible to park pick-e-bikes on site.
    Journey time: approx. 25 minutes (on foot) or approx. 7 minutes (by bicycle).

By car:

  • Take the Bahnhof Wolf St. Jakob exit, then turn left, take the right-hand lane straight past the service building (Cargo Domizil) and turn right onto the site. There are Mobility parking spaces on site in front of the halls and a limited number of regular parking spaces. Expect up to 20 minutes of traffic jams over the last 2 km during the morning rush hour.
