Business Model Innovation Think Tank

The Business Model Innovation Think Tank was founded in 2014 to foster communication between academia and practitioners in the area of business model innovation. The Think Tank is under the stewardship of ITEM-HSG’s spin-off BMI Lab and it actively conducts research on business model innovation and disseminates it to practitioners. Highly competitive firms such as Bühler, Bosch, CEWE, Covestro, Migros, and EnBW that are attempting to institutionalize business model innovation initiatives in their firms are active partners. The Think Tank examines topics such as the structural embeddedness of business model innovation in firms or concurrent changes in organizational culture that are a fundamental element in successful business model innovation initiatives.
